Inside the movement
The weekly action toolkit for the climate movement.

GRETA’S NEW GLOBAL WARNING

This week President Biden makes the largest climate commitment in U.S. history, but Greta Thunberg calls BS on big climate pledges. Plus a whole lot more.

On the first Earth Day, in 1970, 20 MILLION AMERICANS took to the streets to demand change. WHAT FOLLOWED WAS REMARKABLE: passage of the Clean Air Act, passage of the Clean Water Act, the creation of the EPA and so much more. Today, the STAKES ARE EVEN HIGHER, and yet we see less action on the part of governments around the world.

BUT WE CAN CHANGE THAT. We can mobilize as those 20 million Americans did back in 1970. And we can use TODAY'S TOOLS to shape a better future. And that's what ITM is all about. It's a tool to make it EASIER THAN EVER TO TAKE PART in the climate movement and share that information with the people you know.

Our house is on fire. But there are things YOU CAN DO — and they don't have to take much time. Each week, we bring you the top campaigns, actions and events — with links to everything to make taking action as easy as possible.

Here’s what it looks like when people show up, voices ring loud and leaders act for the sake of the planet.

Every week we highlight three climate campaigns having real impact. There are many more than 3, see many of them here.
